Collecting. We publish a range only once at least two independent carriers have quoted the same lane, equipment and service type. Anything less is one carrier's opinion, not a market. Nothing is published yet.

How this is built

A range appears only at two or more independent carriers. One quote is an opinion; it isn't a market. Lanes with a single quote are listed separately as in-progress, without a number.
Every quote carries six fields or it isn't counted — carrier legal name, USDOT, who gave the rate, the date, how long it holds, and the equipment / lane / service type. A number without those is unverifiable, so we don't use it.
Buy-side, not sell-side. These are what carriers quote us, not what we charge. Your all-in cost through any broker includes their margin on top.
Linehaul only. Chassis, per diem, demurrage, prepull, chassis split and overweight permits are excluded — they're event-driven and quoting them as an average would mislead.
We never publish a carrier's name against a price. A rate given to us is commercial information, not ours to hand around. Aggregate ranges only.

If you run POLA/POLB and want your number in the next update, it takes one reply — the rate, who to credit it to, and how long it holds. Carrier setup → Nothing here obligates you to take a load, and your name never appears next to a price.
