Carrier setup — POLA / POLB drayage

We're a licensed and bonded property broker in Downey building a carrier bench for Los Angeles and Long Beach container work — every carrier verified for operating authority and insurance before dispatch — focused on inland lanes to Ontario, Fontana and the Chino corridor.

Five items get you set up. Nothing here obligates you to take a load.

What we need

1. Signed broker–carrier agreement We send it after you submit the form below. Standard industry terms — no exclusivity, no minimum volume.
2. W-9 For 1099 reporting at year end.
3. Certificate of insurance — sent by your agent, not forwarded by you Auto liability $1,000,000 minimum, cargo coverage at or above the value of the freight, Bastion Supply & Logistics named as certificate holder at the address above, with 30 days' notice of cancellation. Ask your agent to send it directly to charles@bastionserve.com. We don't accept a forwarded copy — that's not us being difficult, it's how a certificate stays verifiable.
4. Active operating authority We check FMCSA ourselves for operating status and out-of-service orders on the day we set you up, and again before any tender. Nothing for you to send.
5. Factoring / notice of assignment If you factor your receivables, we need the notice of assignment so payment goes to the right party. One line on the form is enough.

How we pay

Rate confirmation before dispatch, in writing, every time. Invoice with POD gets paid on our standard terms; quick-pay is available and we'll tell you the discount up front rather than burying it. If a detention or per-diem charge is coming, we want the documentation at the time it happens, not thirty days later.
